First and foremost we are a place of worship and gathering – in and for community

We welcome and offer hospitality to community groups. We aim to be child and family friendly.

We are committed to the emotional, physical and spiritual safety of everyone who uses our facilities.

We are set up as a gathering point for the community in times of emergency.

We will give first priority to the ongoing ministries of our church and then in order of application for other users.

Our rates are subject to change.  All clients will be notified of any changes.

Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre Conditions of Use

  • Rates are inclusive of chairs / tables only but do not include set up or put away
  • The kitchen is fully stocked with cups etc.  Please provide your own tea /coffee/sugar/ milk /rubbish bags
  • Any breakages / damage must be paid for
  • Facilities must be left clean, tidy and as they were found
    • Crockery / cutlery / equipment clean & packed away
    • Furniture returned to the way it was
    • All refuse removed
    • All floors cleaned (vacuum cleaner is provided in cupboard)
    • All equipment  turned off
    • Doors locked & key returned to lockbox
  • Cleaning will be charged at $35 per hour if this is required
  • Any decorating may only be temporary and not cause any damage / marks and must all be removed
  • No alcohol or smoking  is permitted in any church building or immediate surrounds.
  • Only heating provided may be used
  • The number of people must be restricted to those on the application
  • Keep to the agreed start and finish times including set up / clean up
  • Users must familiarise themselves with evacuation plans, exits & assembly points
